It utilizes a 3 inch blade made with 154CM steel and ceramic coating. The tanto point on the end is super sharp and ready to splice and dice whatever your needs are. Gerber's manufacturer's website-shows this blade to be 3.6 inches long, but it is not that long, that is a typo on their site. The glass-filled nlyon handle is built with a large palm swell, a finger guard, jimping for the thumb, and a rubberized diamond texture. Lanyard hole on end of handle.
